Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Limited signalled its commitment to the global derivatives market in mid 2008, hiring a number of senior industry figures. The firm plans to offer its diverse client base access to a wide range of offerings. In July 2010, Daiwa announced that it will acquire the global convertible bonds and Asian equity derivatives buiness lines of KBC.  To read the press release, click here.
