Daiwa Institute of Research (DIR), the research arm of Daiwa Securities Group, has claimed top honours in the 2009 All-Japan research Team, Institutional Investor’s annual ranking of Japan’s top equity analysts. It has also taken first place in the Nikkei’s analyst rankings, with seven top ranked analysts.
